I write this post while waiting for my travel to Duri. Heyyaa welcome my new post.
Life is getting boring these days, so I decided to do hiking in West Sumatera. The mountain which I wanted to hike was Talang mountain, located at Solok. The high of this mountain is not too high, only 2597 masl.
From Duri, I took travel to Padang (cost 200K). It spent about 11 hours on road! Haha sooo far away and make me sooo tired. When I arrived at Padang, I prefered bus to continue my journey to Solok. About 1 hour on road then voila, finally I arrived at Lubuk Selasih (cost 18K).
I was so hungry and feeling thirsty. So before I took another transportation, I stopped at mini stall then bought a cup of coffee. After that, I waited for another bus or travel to Alahan Panjang. I met 2 persons when I was waiting, they looked like my parents. I had a little chat with them, trying to get along with new people around me. So happy if I was success talking with new people. Not too long to went to Alahan Panjang, maybe about 15 - 20 minutes then I arrived (cost 20K).
I was so tired, sitting for about 11 hours. I changed my clothes for hiking then waiting for my friends.
The clock was already at 10 a.m. Time to start hiking! At first I was so happy, didn't get tired and was smiling on the journey. Then 30 minutes passed, I started feel tired. My feet was not also in a good condition. Sometimes I was feeling pain and hurt, but ok just keep quiet cause I knew everything's (maybe) going to be okay.
We were hiking for about 3 hours 30 minutes (I was set my stopwatch so i could know the right time hehe). The weather was not really good because fog was everywhere. It also made the weather felt sooo cold, but thanks to Allah I have many friends to made me laugh.
I couldn't wait for night. My dream was staring at stars and moon. Uh oh but I was so unlucky, cause that night was raining. I was feeling sad and bored, really. Never thought it happened to me.
When morning came, it also fog everywhere. Haha maybe I have to hike this mountain next time to get best view and also nice weather.
